I love being a Physio. My mantra is don’t just get back to normal, get better than normal. Get rid of the pain, and then get stronger. You tell me what you want to be able to do, and together we will make it happen. In your first session with me, we will diagnose the problem and use manual therapies to get you moving with less pain. You will leave with a specifically targeted exercise program that will give you the tools to get out of pain and get back to life on your own.
I graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2005. In my 10+ years of clinical experience, I have worked in the UK, Australia and Canada. Passion for continuing professional development has been a constant feature of my career. While working in Australia I trained in specialist spine management and dry needling. Upon return to the UK I developed proficiency in Mulligan mobilization with movement, McKenzie spine rehabilitation and DMA clinical pilates. I also studied athletic shoulder and sporting knee specific rehabilitation strategies. Since arriving in Canada I have focussed my training efforts around vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, as well as integrating modern pain science into practice.
In my own time, I enjoy running, strength training and snowboarding.
